Information

Nowhere else would automotive gems look more beautiful and stately than here, in the Rynek, with Renaissance tenement houses in the background. Some of the cars are true rarities, almost 100 years old, whose bodies have been polished and whose all details have been carefully restored, starting from upholstery, wheels, bumpers and headlights to even the smallest screw in the engine. Legends of Polish motor industry gracefully come to the Rynek in Zamość every spring in May or June with their good old whirr. Behind their steering wheels there are collectors and enthusiasts of antiques, participants in Vintage Vehicle Rally or Old Motocycle Rally. Zamość has hosted such gems as a two-passenger BMW Dixi from 1929, the first car made by BMW factory in which you can accelerate by pulling a lever placed in the middle of the steering wheel. Other interesting specimens include the only wooden Tatra car from 1928 in working condition in Poland, Porsches, Beetles and Mercedeses. Old Polish makes, such as Warszawas and Syrenkas never fail to attract attention of the public. Polish motorcycles, such as junaks, wuefemkas and wueskas bring tears to many people’s eyes reminding them of their youth. Young people also enjoy an opportunity to see what the cars and motorcycles driven and ridden by their grandfathers or even great grandfathers looked like. Everybody can have their picture taken with these unique rarities.
