Two gates, located at 24 and 26 Bazyliańska Street, lead to the yard but it can also be accessed from #4 the Rynek, through the entrance hall of the Aberkowska Tenement House. The cosy yard consists of two former yards which belonged to the tenement houses owned once by Szymon Birkowski and Andrzej Abrek, professors at the Zamojska Academy. Two smaller yards belonging to the Piechowiczowska and the St. Kazimierz Tenement Houses are separated from the yard with a fence.
